I've also had a headache for the past couple days an I thought it might be something to do with the ratio of tea:water I've been drinking but think that maybe the tap water here isn't so good to drink. We have a Britta filter water tank thing in our fridge but it turns the water an ominous black colour so I think I'll stick to the headache water. Or maybe buy some bottles.
On top of this I need to buy a space heater because my room, although tiny, is constantly freezing and rather than a radiator, the geniuses that built the place put in a vent to keep it cold. But I don't wanna spend any more money when I can just put on all the clothes I have.
Anyway, the good news...
We were shopping yesterday and walked past this shop in Gastown who were throwing out a silver shop mannequin and a lovely silver and turquoise chair. So we asked them and they said we could have them for free. Which means we have a new chair (and mannequin) in our house! We did have to carry them home on the rush-hour bus though.
Apart from that though we haven't really been doing anything. I've been studying my tea notes to try and become the tea expert I was destined to be. Have to go in tonight for a couple hours to sample all the teas they sell so I can understand the flavours and aromas etc. It's basically a tea binge. Can't hardly wait! I also get a discount off their tea merchandise so if you have a birthday coming up (best give it a few months to accommodate the post) you'd better start liking tea!
I'm in Blenz but it isn't the usual internet Blenz and the connection's crap and blogger's not uploading my photos. I had to drink 2 giant cups of tea in quick succession yesterday because some Blenz don't even do free wireless but don't say which an we had to go to Waves.
(S'ok guys I bussed it to my home Blenz territory and have all the internets in the place... Photos ahoy!)
