Regional Assemby of Tea.

On Sunday we went to Main Street and to this little shop that sells loads of nice clothes and has an old-fashioned photo booth in it. For $2 you can get four black and white photos taken so I did that and they came out a lot better than I thought they would. The exposure's a bit off but I look ok which is the main thing. Here's my photos.

It's pretty poor quality because I had to take a photo without the flash and I don't have a tripod and I don't have a scanner to scan them in with.

Then Debbie went to work and me and Debi went home to cook some soup and scones for dinner. We had to wait until Debbie came home to eat them though but when she did return she brought a firelog with her so we lit a proper fire in our fireplace.

So that was quite cool although the log burned for 4 hours and we only lit it at 10pm and no one could be bothered to stay up until then so we poured some water over it and went to sleep.

Yesterday I had some chores to do so I did some grocery shopping and had lunch (by myself) on Broadway before I went to work. I had to sit a tea exam at work yesterday to see how I'm learning all about tea. It took an hour which was pretty full on but most of the questions were simple enough. Because the manager's french some of the questions were worded oddly and I didn't really understand what they were asking but I told him this and I should be OK. He said he'd mark it at the end of the week. I also bought some tea for Debbie because she's blue because Debi went home yesterday and now we have a whole tea shelf. Good times.

This morning I had to get my hair cut at 9am away out at UBC which takes like an hour to get to so I was up at 7am. Then I came home an napped from 11 until half past then cooked my dinner for tonight at work, which consists of broccoli, carrots, garlic, spinach, mushrooms and cashew nuts with noodles and a honey and soy sauce. I think it's going to be one of those things that sounds delicious and looks delicious but leaves you feeling wholely unsatisfied. I'll take some chocolate for after. Last night at work was pretty busy so I hope it's quieter tonight after my early start. I have tomorrow off though so me and Debbie are going to do something fun and maybe go and watch an open mic night and have some dinner in the evening. That should be fun.
